If you were exiled from your homeland, where would you move?

Posted on Dec 9th, 2007 by quietlaughter : . quietlaughter
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for December 09, 2007:

The feisty, fighter inside of me says - exiled from my homeland? I'd like to see them try. I would head north, disappear into the wilderness - live out the rest of my days in peace in the land that I love. I've crawlled through an active bear den, lived through temperatures colder than Moscow - actually having to walk a mile to and from school in the snow WITH frostbite on all fingers and on my face - no one kicks me out of my own home *shakes fist* Canada is a pretty big country to be kicked out of... however, if there was no where to turn (thinking of the long passage from Tibet to India that so many brave people travelled to survive) I would not tell anyone where I was going. I would move where the wind took me until I found a place to stay... on this side of the ocean or the other. I wouldn't rest until I could come home again.

yes, it is lovely - this morning I woke up to 4 inches of snow. It is incredibly beautiful! hehehe it's all about being aclimatized though, and having the right clothing to wear! (though I have been known to go barefoot in the snow sometimes ;-) )

hope you are having a great weekend!
