Advent Calendar - December 1

This will be the second year that I launch myself into creating artwork for what I fondly call the Advent Calendar project. This project was inspired by a good friend of mine from Sweden - Judit and her friend Anne Pare from France. Last year, every day during  the month of December I received their beautiful illustrations and paintings, and in turn shared mine with others. I did not finish the month, but after finishing NaNoWriMo, I know that anything is possible, so I am going to give it a go again this year.

December 1st marks World Aids Day - I have been volunteering with Art for Aids International for a few years now, helping wherever and whenever I can. This college, called "today it is hope that fills our hearts" is in honour of my friends Hendrikus and JP. The road to change begins with many things, but most of all hope.
